Small Groups

We believe that at the heart of Biblical Christianity is a redeemed community. Jesus died to save his church. The church is God’s people, under God’s authority, for God’s purposes. This means that we don’t just “go” to church, we are the church. And it takes more than seeing each other briefly on Sunday mornings to live out our calling to be the body of Christ. We are trying to create a church that will live as the family of God and show the world the power of the gospel by our loving commitment to Christ, to the truth, to one another, and to our community.
Our small groups gather each week in homes to do several things. First, we “hang out” and eat a meal together in order to fellowship and get to know one another. Second, we attempt to grow as believers through Bible study, prayer, and mutual encouragement. Third, we are attempting to work out our shared mission to be salt and light in our neighborhoods. We currently have one group meeting on Thursdays in Clovis near Clovis East High School, and 2 in Fresno on meeting on Wednesdays (1 near 99 and McKinley, 1 near Fresno and Bullard). We also have a Sunday afternoon group meeting near Sierra Vistal Mall in Clovis..
